Gothic 2 NOTR is best but it aged like a milk. There are better games out now.

I'd say the greatest open world and the greatest quests, but it's lacking in many other aspects. Combat system sucks balls, fighting is fun but get samey real quick, magic becomes literally press X to kill everything in sight. There's little vareity in character building, and bosses are underwhelming

Baldurs Gate is so overrated.

I remember killing the cave orc next to Khorinis on a very low level like this. Lots of adrenaline released as it took long time to kill him and I had to leave few times, so I was forced to save/load in the middle of the fight, but I did it in the end.
Remind me, was parrying without skill (or at all) actually possible in G1? I can't remember right now.

When playing Skyrim, it's shitty enemy level scalling completly destroys any immersion and fun. Like a prisoner that just escaped beheading, is as strong as the whole batalion of bandits camping in anchient ruins for who knows how long, also training to fight almost their whole life to only be beaten by dovakin like he is fighting that nerd kid from school.

And Ubisoft open world formula is more cancerous than unironicaly watching Rick and Morty, or browsing reddit.

God why can't we have nice Gothic games again, at least looking foward to Banerlord.
