You can skip every single cutscene you want and just keep playing the game. Like I said, in the beginning there is stopping and starting but it goes away for the most part as the game goes on. Plus if you're playing on normal you can blast through the game very easily. It's why playing on hard is reccomended so that you aren't just having a casual "blast through" of the game and you actually have to play. Because normal is too easy and hard is just right. It is basically the normal option.

Also, you are just false about the tutorial. Each one is about 1 minute long with about 3 or 4 lines of dialog inbetween; which takes up only about 10mins or less of your time in total. I know this for a fact because I did it myself just yesterday. You must have some serious attention issues if 10mins of "not shooting something" is too much for you to handle. Like damn man, I'd hate to be you.

It always saddens me that /v/ has so many posters that are too damaged to sit down and play a game. You took 20 minutes too long on the tutorial and couldn't just say fuck it amd skip the cutscene yourself. You have to drop the labarious task of playing a game so you can post a 40 minute impression of it.

After trying to run this on my toaster I'm convinced they used some voodoo magic to make it run on the PS3 and 360, it usually runs 7th gen games with ease but I can barely run Vanquish at 720p 30fps with everything but textures set to low.

I have an i5 with a z170 mobo and a gt740 graphics card (yes I know, an odd set up, but I can't afford a new graphics card and had to buy a new mobo, anyway). I can get the game running at 60fps with dips here and there to about 45fps (never had it actually drop in gameplay though, just during cutscenes for some reason) with most of my settings at high or medium.

You really want to shoot for 60fps. Turn off shadows, turn off bloom and HDR, and turn down or off anti aliasing, and also turn down or off antitropshic filter or whatever it's called I forget exactly at the moment.

You can also always try and run the game at a lower resolution than what you do normally. Since my graphics card is kinda weak I tend to run games at 1360x768 or 1600-900 windowed mode for extra preformace. Normally my monitor is a 1980. Just do what you gotta do to hit them frames my dude. Once you've hit 60, turn on what you might want to keep and still see if you can hit 60.
