I've got a few shots of futuristic female armor that I'd love to see get put in a game somewhere.

A few artists on Deviantart, Tekka-croe and Shimmering Sword, both make some fucking A+ female armors. Tekka gets a lot of inspiration from Halo and Destiny, as I think Sword does too, but each are fantastic. I also think Bungie does some of the best armors out there. Simple and practical, but entirely unique in character and look. Stuff you'd imagine seeing in real life.

What I should have said is that sword and bow became irrelevant because of the cheap and easy training of guns, and that while 'bulletproof' plate was a thing, guns kept getting more piercing power and that no amount of plate is going to save you from a cannonball, which is what like 50% of combat casualties were from starting in the 17th century or so. And soldier's gearpacks got heavier, so they had to save weight. That, and there were way more soldiers to throw around in the later centuries, so governments did have to get a bit cheap on gear for practicality.

These both come from games with extremely cartoony designs, bikini armor isn't that weird. In a more serious game I feel it's a problem.
