Once you're at 3.5, adding CFW is just a matter of putting Update files in a USB and running said updates.

Play NieR, it's leagues ahead in quality. If you then want to discover more about Yoko Taro games, play Drakengard 3. It's not that 3 is a bad game, but it suffers from low budget.
