Thanks god i'm not the only one who's disgusted by how all soulsborne ost sounds so over-the-top. Overhyped, just like the series itself.

On topic of Bloodborne, I think tracks like Cleric Beast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICSk8-pJkX8) or "Bloodborne" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzdhTGaWzec not the real song but these guys do it so well) are better, simply because they are more uniquely composed.

Too much music, both in movies and video games, are composed for grand symphonies, but have a tendency to be "just for you'd expect", and as such they're not immediately memorable, and that's really what counts.

Here's some tracks that I think are incredibly memorable, and good. You could wake me up 3 in the morning, and I'd be able to name the game instantly, not because I have played them for hundreds of hours, or even tens, but because they're simply memorable.
