Android isn't inherently a phone OS, it can work just fine for other devices. The problem is that the ouya was engineered by trained chimpanzees, it overheated, the controllers were made of cheap plastic and the game selection was anemic. Also the wifi sometimes worked, but only if you set it to the side.
