XBLA ports of Virtual-On, Soul Calibur 1, Guardian Heroes, Bangai-O, Radiant Silvergun, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, Alien Hominid, etc

360 was an excellent alternative for like 80% of its lifespan. It was only worth to get a PS3 very late in its life-cycle.

I was like 19 or 20 when it and ps3 came out and everyone went nuts over the hd graphics. It was a real hype, all my friends got one and I couldn't afford it because I was a horrible neet back then.

Besides that, no real reason to prefer it over the ps3. In my eyes those two consoles were pretty much the same. but I remember that, here in germany at least, the 360 was quite a bit cheaper so that's what I went with once the slim version came out.
