A lot of you guys seem to be using 1070's. How's the performance at 1080p? Is it complete overkill? Building a friend a rig to and they're looking into getting a 1070.

Don't really have a parts picked out. Don't need a list because I've built so many rigs in my life. I'd go with and 80+ bronze, seeing as they wanna keep costs down. Figure a 600 watt should do the trick, either EVGA or Corsair most likely.
