Nintendo was down for my formative years. 64 and GameCube. Then I got out of video games for awhile during the Wii phase in my college years. Post College I got a Wii U and loved it, but it was supported for only four years :(.

So stoked to finally be big into video games when Nintendo is kicking ass!

I mean, I got BOTW and that was great. I have zero interest in Mario Kart or Splatoon though. I've played them on the Wii U, so Mario Kart 8.5 has zero appeal to me and I honestly didn't like Splatoon enough for me to bother buying the sequel. I'm worried ARMS will have similar problems with what I had with Splatoon, so I'm not planning on getting it until it comes out and I read some reviews.

I'm gonna be honest, homies, but the lack of games really hurt. People bash the system for the whole "NO GAYM" meme, but they're completely right.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret the system. I love playing Mario Kart 8, especially since I never owned it on Wii U, but there really isn't a whole lot.

Only games worth buying are BOTW, MK8 (only if you didn't own it on Wii U), Shovel Knight (only if you didn't own it literally anywhere else), and MAYBE Snipperclips. Pretty fun with some friends, but a little too short.

I'm also mad hyped up for Arms, and Wargroove. But other than that, I really don't know. I'm sure we'll see in time. Anyone have any ideas to help me? Maybe some recommendations?

Like the other anons said, I also have the amFlim glass protector. It's been working well. I avoid touching the screen anyway so I don't have problems yet.

But in the package they give you they also have some random cleaning stuff and a bullshit sticker to get dirt off. I used it when my Switch was just opened and it left residue on it. I've already got Has Been Heroes and Tumbleseed (and will be getting Isaac later on) but the convenience of portable roguelites as well being able to play them on my TV (without fucking around with cross-saves like with the few roguelites that are Cross-Buy on the PS4/Vita) make me want as many on the Switch as possible.

The stickers are for the screen protector; not the screen. Why are the games on the eshop so expensive? They all cost €69,99 when I can get the games (MK8, Zelda) in store for €53. Doesn't the cartridge cost them quite a lot as well? I don't get it. On PSN some games only cost €60 and the physical version in stores €70.

They really need to put demos of the pro controller in stores so people can know how nice it is. I was expecting "Wii U Pro controller now with HD Rumble and Xbox layout!", but no, pretty much everything about it is better especially the ergonomics, sticks, and triggers. Even the weight of it is great with just enough to make it feel sturdy and well made. Also, I thought the grips were made of rubber for months, but nope it's plastic.

I don't think Sony can do that quite yet at a price people will find reasonable. People expect their next console to have graphics least as good as the PS4 does, and tech isn't there yet without being extra chunky or too costly. Maybe some years in the future if graphical fidelity requirements plateau at a cheap enough cost and if the tech is energy efficient.
