I was excited at first until I played GTA's slasher mode. I'm sure the first week will still be fun, but once 'victims' work out how to play aggressively, it's going to end up exactly like Evolve.

Did the people behind evolve give up on trying to keep it balanced though? From what Ive heard the Devs seem really into the prospect of keeping Jason wayyy more over powered than the kids

I think the hyped died after all the streamers stopped and moved onto PUBG. It's similar enough in feel to take some steam out.

It literally won't matter. few people predicted Slashers in GTA would suddenly become victims of flashlight bludgeoning in every match.

These fatboy modes are fun, but creating an entire game around it? Not so much. Like I said, though. I'm positive the game will still be plenty fun before players get the bloodthirst.

Mileage and all that. Halloween had some celtic shit going that intrigued a little bit before they stopped giving a fuck. Seeing the man in black completely destroy a police station to get michael out was a surprising twist the first time you saw it.

The balance seems to be how much is there but in the background and how much they let take the foreground though. The F13 and Nightmare remakes wanted to be all story driven and got completely retarded because of it.

tl;dr Lots of killing + just enough plot to make you wonder a bit = good slasher.

All games lose players. I just mean that having constant eyes on your game and being "popular" will attract more players than it there weren't any to begin with.

Not a game that I would personally play but I would watch people play it and did.
