FEAR. I reckon shotguns in stalker with slug ammunition were dope as well, but it could've been with mods, so don't quote me on that one. Rising Storm 2 had pretty satisfying shotguns as well, but the game is a buggy mess.

Hitting a long range headshot with slugs in that game is probably the most satisfying feeling ever. Feels really nice to pull off. Buckshot is good too, but for closer range of course.

I also mainly use shotguns in Payday 2. With the right mods and skills they are lethal AF. Although, they don't behave nearly as realistic as in Stalker.
