I'd say this game and Burnout 3 are the pinnacle of racing games. No other will ever be as good.

Burnout Paradise was also notable for its DLC program. For a whole year, they just gave shit away for free, even a whole new vehicle type: Bikes. When they added the Island DLC, I gladly paid for it.

I would have to agree OP. Burnout Takedown was one of the most fun games of all time, open world paradise was a failure. Fuck whoever was behind and celebrated this. And fuck EA for not bringing this IP back to it's original glory.

Fucking Burnout Revenge is one of my top favorites of all time but this game actually killed the franchise. I don't hate the openworld meme, I think it could work if they didn't fucking remove the race track indicators.

You have no fucking idea where the finish point is, there are no directions except the shitty compass and absolute shit minimap, one wrong turn or you forget a turn and you're insta from 1st to last position. Fuck this game.
