I've been playing video games, and it's been my main hobby for the last 20 or so years.

I've met a handful of girls that like, or even love video games. Hell, I've dated a few. I, however, have never met a girl who plays video games that wasn't terrible at them. Especially when we're talking competitive, multiplayer games. Not once have I come across one on the level of even the most average of scrubby dudebro. This is probably why many of them stick to single player games that require less technical skill, with games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill being the closest they come to being fans of something I'd consider hardcore.

When presented with a game that actually requires investment l to succeed at, they completely fall apart.

I actually met one girl in my entire life who was not only very good at competitive FPS games but that she was better than most of her male competition.
She was insanely good at all FPS games I played with her, Battlefield, CoD, CS, Quake, Red Orchestra. You name it she's good at it.

The strangest part is that she was actually a pretty cute 17 year old russian girl with a very modest and sweet personality, and she was insanely good at FPS games.
We used to be in the same amateur-comp team for Battlefield 4 until I quit.
She's THE one female I've seen who was better than me and pretty much everyone else I knew and she was a nice person that earned the respect of every other male player in the team.

The thing though is that this is a one time thing, after playing games for almost 15 years. One girl vs literally thousands of men.

Bow has been murder tier in 4U and Generations because Capcom can't into balance. SnS is amazingly fun to play with and no one in their right mind would run Wide Range over offensive skills. Bowguns are ridiculous and anyone who thinks they're support only is dumb and even if you go full status you can still deal a good amount of damage from bombs/crags/clust. HH looks like support, but anyone who doesn't jam in the monster's face and just toot toots in a corner is getting kicked.
