Sega defines the term "console scraps". While the PS4 gets Yakuza Zero (with a banner more or less implying *also on PC) and then constantly shoot down any possibility of it getting a PC version, but they instead give PC a port of a 2010 game (which should've been on PC since at the latest 2011). When console friends got tired of Yakuza, they gave them a brand new Puyo Puyo game, and they in turn denied that a PC version but gave PC Vanquished, again an old game that had zero reason to not come to PC at an earlier time.

Now watch as the mustards act like the games they got are better than the console games, or better yet, immediately pull out the idort shield. Funny how it's always PC gamers the ones who have to buy a console for the quality exclusives, but you never hear about console gamers buying an expensive multiplat box to play the latest SJW infected western multiplat at 30 more frames than consoles.

There's not really any difficulty in asking for something because you might as well. Meanwhile, PC has the entire libraries of most consoles plus its own enormous array of exclusives. 95% of notable indie games are PC exclusive or originally for PC, which is common sense considering it's what you're going to be developing on anyway.

The thing with PC is I can play the waiting game. Sure, my GPU might eventually be dated, but by the time I can't reasonably max everything the newest models will be cheap enough that I can grab that right up for far less than the price of a console. Consoles have lifespans of relevancy not much greater than that of a GPU, and when you buy the newest console, there's absolutely no guarantee you'll be able to play anything you did on your old one.

Not necessarily, but they aren't exactly built to last. Not to mention they're all individual items. Putting an N64, a Wii, a GameCube, a PS2, a PS1, a Genesis, and a Dreamcast all on one desk, plus the cables and the fact that you have to rewire them every time you want to use them because no TV has that many inputs, is going to take up a FUCK load of space. And then you have to have somewhere to store the games. I can do the same with a reasonably sized tower and peripherals, and never have to worry about anything failing and having to buy a new one because if something in my PC fucks up I can take it out and replace it. And most of my games are digital, so they never scratch or be lost.

Not that I'm saying physical copies are a bad thing, but digital is so much more convenient.

Because consoles NEED exclusives to remain relevant in the minds of the rabid fanboys. One of them getting ported to PC is a huge loss because its one less thing they can cling to to justify their purchase.
