The concept is good. I prefer a much more visually appealing interface like these gauges compared to staring at a tiny buff timer for stuff like BotD.

It's a good thing.

The game from 2.0 to now is watching your timers and syncing things up, very rote and boring. The only really fun mechanics are when they don't involve timers directly, and instead work off internal mechanics, like WAR stacks, DRK MP, MCH ammo, SCH/SMN aetherflow, etc

This is a great step forward for the game in terms of streamlining the multitude of actions we've had for each class, but also introducing a different type of skill management in the new gauges involved.

Fewer generic filler buttons and useless crossclasses, and more actually involved mechanics are all we've seen so far. The crossrole system alone is really cool and implies we'll be speccing differently for each fight, and across our whole raid too.

bottom left is the new Umbral Heart. You gain these for casting Blizzard IV now since Enochian is permanent. These make Fire IV cheaper to cast.

bottom right is the Enochian meter. Enochian is 'permanent' but drops if you lose Astral Fire/Umbral ice. The gauge tracks this time and once 30 seconds have passed, the diamond known as the Polyglot at the bottom fills up, which lets you cast Foul.

Are there any infos about marketplace being revamped? I never bothered with crafting and only had enough money to not be grounded due teleport fees. Yet at the same time I never felt like I needed the money because I never cared much about vanity items aside some clothes since there was nothing worth of interest on the market place anyway aside potions/food

Is raiding in other mmos the same as in this game? I mean, raiding comes down to smashing your face against the fight until you memorize every move and playing with a group of players that can do the same. There's no element of surprise, you don't have to react to unexpected stuff, basically it's a memorization game with no other skill required than to do solid dps.
