60FPS 1080p starts as being the standard. And then this gradually degrades over the course of the generation until idiots think that 720p 30FPS is acceptable, or maybe they'll only drop as low as 900p or something.

If you wanna play everything at Ultra for the entire generation, a 1080ti might just do it, but, by the end of it, 4K 120fps might be the PC standard for Ultra, and the 1080ti won't cut it.
