The only really good units are Hana and Nowi, depending on their IVs. (+atk/spd is really good, either -atk/-spd is really bad)

They are pretty average, but I wouldnt call them weak. You just have to build them properly.
I have Anna at 5*, the siblings at 4*. Anna has a very unorthodox playstyle: a berserker that can handle magic attacks and can warp around as low HP. Desperation and Fury let her shine.

Alfonse I'm building as a Sword-check with Swordbreaker with Hone Attack. He's not going to be killing a lot of people but he's basically going to be an Olivia minus Dance add Reposition

Sharena is a buff/debuff machine. She's pretty much the most well-rounded of the three and she's a natural threat to reds.

Nobody disses Anna on my watch. This baby cannot be killed by Reindhart, Linde or Nino even through all the buffs. She is also impossible to double with Fury so she can survive quite a few hits.

Mine lacks it, but adding Desperation in conjunction with her teleporting jew magic will allow her to travel across the map and kill unsuspecting enemies.

Also, while it's easy to deal with Vantage Hector in a vacuum, dealing with 3 Vantage units that can counter from any distance can really wear a team down.

How do I improve on this palla? She can kill any green I need her to with hone fliers and can usually kill the occasional colorless. She can attack into better reds without dying thanks to darting blow if one needs to be weakened. I just don't know what to do with her outside of getting one with optimized IVs

This is what I was thinking. I've faced a lot of Vantage Hectors in Arena and while I am able to defeat them after a few turns of whittling down their health, they still put up a nasty fight. I have a feeling a Vantage Hector and Vantage Nowi combo on my defense team could fuck over a lot of people.

I'd consider Memes of Mercy too but I've read that it's mostly useful for Defense teams as opposed to Vantage, which seems like a useful option for both Defense and Offense. Plus, once I'm able to get WOM 3 it's going straight to Azura first so Hector would have to wait a while longer to get it.

I'll take G Tomebreaker into consideration though because of his -Def / +Res IVs. That might sync well too.

This is what I've been running on my -Def / +Res Alm. Personally I like Windsweep because it lets him fuck up other units without losing a lot of health but in your case it might not be the best possible option. I have heard that Renewal 3 and a health transfer assist skill can be useful though, since it basically turns him into a powerful healer.
