If I may say so, Tatsuya, despite gaining his own personality when not the "main" character is the perfect representation of the player. More so, in fact than the other persona main characters from 1, 2 EP, 3, 4, and 5. And that is because he refuses to let go and move on after the adventure is done. He is everyone who wants the P3MC to come back. He is everyone who didn't want to leave in P4 and 5. Those kinds of people are EVERYWHERE in persona threads. He would rather the show to go on, even if it meant more conflict and suffering for the people he desperately wants to stay with.

I didn't interpret that at all. As a character he was legit angry that Phil and Nyarly made them go through all that for a pissing contest. Also Tatusya's life fucking sucked and he finally made some genuine friends. That's why in EP he goes straight to kicking ass and taking names.

Although I do agree that most persona fans refuse to take the message of the games seriously. Still P2's message was "your friends are worth fighting for"

Went back and watched IS's ending. Yeah there's definitely a disconnect between it and EP since IS ends with Tatsuya running into Maya at a crosswalk and bending over to pick up the bunny doll with Maya kinda recognizing him and the rest of the party right around them.. I honestly don't remember all of EP's cutscenes, but I'm sure the retcons are in the dialogue there.

IS/EP get shafted in terms of remembrance but IIRC Tatsuya went pretty nuts towards the end of IS. Demi Fiend is supposed to just be wandering through Amala Network fucking with people but he also loses a match to Raidou XIV.

Honestly, the Praetarius SJ Marine is most likely the most powerful being to have ever existed

Raidou's the most incredible, even if he isnt the strongest. Every single demon around thinks he's the coolest, even arms of God like Metatron, and he saved an entire branch of the timeline by preventing SMT1 and allowing all the Devil Summoner/Persona games to happen.

Even if Demi Fiend and Nanashi are stronger, nobody's more incredible than that strong, handsome detective boy.

The gameplay isn't really bad, it's pretty standard. The issue is just that it's a slog and takes forever. Cleaned up menus and faster animations would make it a lot more tolerable. I still prefer P2's gameplay over P1's either way.

I actually think P2EP has the best gameplay of P1-4. There's lots of aspects that increase complexity and there's a considerable amount of customization and micromanagement you can do for specific battles. The interface is super clunky though.

Aleph, he could probably walk into any timeline and instantly get the support of Law and Neutral factions if he had that timeline's versions of Satan, Archangels, and Masakado to vouch for him. Maybe in one on one combat he'd lose to some other protagonists but when it comes to having as many demons shill for you as possible he's helped so many people out it'd be easy for him to get support anywhere he went.
