Does anyone else miss Lionhead? Sure, their ideas didn't always pan out or live up to the hype, but I always felt like they weren't afraid to try something new, No matter what the end product was I always found it fun and charming.

well I didnt play much of 2 but my experience was that it was too much like an RTS and that things were heavily favored, mechanically, towards playing a good alignment rather than evil.

Good alignment was piss easy compared to evil. To win any map as Good just build up your town and fight defensive battles; enemy villages will automatically get conquered just based on your growth and migrate.

Evil had to actively fight costly wars across the map and it was tedious as fuck.

To think this was one of the first games ever I player online with a 56k modem.

I remember the wonder I felt when I realized I could not only throw rocks at my friend's village but also catch the stuff that he threw me back mid air.

All I ever did in Black and White was pick-up and throw people and basically torture them. It was the funniest shit to me.

I used to like injuring kids from the nursery to the point where they were on all fours, then set them miles away from their home and watch them crawl back

usually they would die before they got there but sometimes if they were just about to reach their goal I would set them on fire or throw them into the ocean

Tho if you wanted to be as evil as possible you could kill the brother, bring the sister to his corpse to prompt some unique dialog, smash her house, then kill her

or kill the sister, show the brother her corpse, let him slowly die out in the woods, then smash the house

I also used to enjoy trapping my creature in his pen with giant boulders, while starving him and occasionally dropping one of the boulders on him to keep him constantly injured.

What was interesting about that was the effect it had on his mental state. As soon as I let him out or if he got out on his own, the first thing he would do, no matter his training, was smash all my buildings and kill all the villagers he could.
Like in retaliation to all the abuse.

I used to dick around in this game so much, cheesing the people on the other side of the map by throwing shit from super far away.

I remember cheesing the shit out of Lethys on world three using this invincible fucker.

Whenever you threw him you had about a 1 second window where you had influence around where he landed so you could chain throws all the way up to Lethys's villages and burn them all down.

Is there anyway to get a mulltiplayer game going?
