Pretty fond of the mountains and vast forests setting. It has a lot of potential depending on how well they nail the environment.

I'll be happy if they:

Clearly done to capitalize on the current political climate. I personally find the antagonist, location, and general theme to be unfitting for a far cry game. In addition, I believe it is taking a cheap shot at a strawman because they are too afraid to release another game where non whites are the antagonist, again because of the current political climate.

This is a pretty objective viewpoint I believe, but feel free to point out my bias as I am always looking to analyze myself and it's easier for people to do that from the outside than it is for you to do it from the inside.

The series ended after Far Cry 3. I got hyped for 4, but quickly realized that while it had some redeeming values in the characters and the setting and the art, that was about it. As a video game itself, it suffered heavily from repetition, and Primal did the same shit. Do some quests, kill some people in an outpost, now it's your outpost, repeat, repeat, repeat. The plot kind of moves forward, but the best parts of the game are the first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes.

Fuck paying $60 for one hour of enjoyable content and 30 hours of monotonous generic shoot 'em up. I'm not going to judge the game on themes and characters and plot when we know next to nothing about it except some politically charged cover art, I'm going to judge it on knowing beforehand that it'll just be the same Far Cry game they've released 5 times now with a slightly different setting and slightly different characters.

I lived in a very. VERY rural town. <2000 people for most of my life. Moved into the city later in life.

There's parts about both I like, and parts about both I dislike.

City life is more convenient. Rural life I was able to be a bit more free because I lived in a house and had a yard and was able to do more with it.

Getting groceries and transportation is easier in the city by a ton, there was no public transportation at all in the little village. In city life, I have access to more restaurants and stores and such. Rural life was much more calm, peaceful and laid back.

The people in my tiny little village were kind of assholes though and in small towns rumors and gossip traveled quick and people were really cliquey. Whereas in the city you don't have to be afraid that people are watching everything you do to spread it around.

Really though it depends on who you are.
I do live in a smaller city now, most people wouldn't even consider it a city.
