Ali dance, benefits the whole party while firm stance I'd only suggest on a persona with a lot of resistances to further mitigate any damage you take with it, also firm stance is available in accessory form as the divine pillar dropped by the Reaper.

A persona with auto-masukukaja, ali dance and angelic grace will rarely get hit.

I'm having a similar dilemma with some weapons in P5. I don't know whether to give Ryuji his Hanuman weights or use his Thor morning star. One gives auto-tarukaja (pointless since I have auto-matarukaja) and has a unique design while the other gives elec boost (or amp, doesn't really say which) and has a generic design.

Makoto also has a similar issue with her sabazios and vajra, the former has 8 more damage (minimal difference) and high crit chance with a generic design while the other has a high chance of random ailment but has a unique design.

Before someone brings up the lack of Charge, I have that on another persona with all 3 auto-ma buffs, concentrate, debilitate, cosmic flare and victory cry. So I use that one as the opener to the fight, cast charge then debilitate and switch.

Ali Dance because dodging damage entirely is better than taking damage 100% of the time but it's halved.

Also, because Angelic Grace can stack meaning enemy accuracy is reduced by half and your dodge rate doubles.

Firm stance plus divine pillar honestly seems to be the better set up. However, the utility of using the Crystal Skull (+5 all attributes and evade magic high) with apt pupil's effect aiding the entire party feels nice to have.
