NOBODY EVER BRINGS ME GIFTS ANY MORE!
YOOUUU payy thiis muuch....
I like this game. It's more of a Zelda game than a Starfox game though. I know everyone has said "it's a good game, just not a good starfox game" but god dammit it's true. Personally I think it's an interesting experiment. Imagine if they did this more often. Make a Metroid game, but make it more like a Mario game, or make a Zelda game that's more like a Kirby game.

NO, THAT'S TOO LOW

Part of me kind of wishes it had just stayed Dinosaur Planet and had nothing to do with Star Fox. It makes me wonder where the Star Fox series would have gone if Dinosaur Planet was never retooled to fit that series.
BRING ME MORE SCARABS

Agreed. Dinosaur Planet would have been Zelda with Rare's distinct cartoony art style.

I remember playing this game as a kid and never getting past the part where you have to button mash A to beat some asshole in a test of strength. Everything past that part could be amazing and I will never know.

That's exactly what happened to me. Play it again. That part is surprisingly easy as an adult. When I played it again years later I was dreading it but was pleasantly surprised. As a kid I got my dad to beat that part for me. He had no experience with video games and I said "just press the green button until the other gut falls down."

>Tfw you force Rare to kill their own game and salvage whatever was left from it to make a Star Fox game, only to cut them off during development and sell them off literally the day after it released

I had to get my friend to beat that part for me.

nope the game just gets worse as it goes on
