Is multiplayer still alive?

The gradually crumbling structures and ships really gave me a boner back when the game was new.
I remember the campaign being very fun and interesting but then I was also very young.

I used to love the dutch. Building banks out the ass and then spamming those 1 pop gun cavalry was hilarious.

I do know some get balanced like the native american nations which have powerful cards yet shit defenses but why simply don't give them ultra fast spawn rate?

Still it was extremely fun. The campaign was pretty good. I wish more people would play it.

For some reason the graphics still impress me, the water reflections, the smoke, the way buildings and ships break when you shoot them with cannons etc.
And that comfy music when you look at your town in the menu
