I don't think it's isekai, it's what most of P-Studio is making now that they're done with Persona 5. Considering Catherine was made under similar circumstances and turned out quite well, as well as this being something the director has apparently wanted to do for a while, I'm interested in it. Has nothing to do with Re: Zero, and is not the actual name of the game to my knowledge, just what it's being called for now. And also, the title is Project Re: Fantasy,I got confused because it's being made by the newly formed Studio Zero. From what art they've shown, it seems like it will have a heavy emphasis on the feeling of traveling in an adventure, which was something that was scrapped early on for P5. They haven't shown much, but I think it's worth keeping an eye on.

What you get from Cursed items is determined by a list. I'm not sure if its set as soon as you go to BBI, or when the Cursed Item is added to your inventory, or what, but that's the way it is.

At the very least, they should just go full on lazy and recycle all the content from the original game and the MMO. DD actually looks fairly decent, the model work is good, just improve the lighting and textures, make the characters look nicer.

Also I think DD does use some MonHan animations for Greg, his roar is identical to Fatalis, and his flying animation as well. I wouldn't mind them using MonHan animations to create new monsters in DD2.

If they do make a sequel, I hope it's just a pseudo-sequel that is just the first game but complete, and they can call it a branch off of the original DD or something. It seems like there's enough cut content in the game to justify it, but then they could also just add some new improvements and additions on top of adding in all of what was originally planned.

They're the most independently functional but it comes at the cost of mundanity and a bewilderingly retarded shield animation. For every Riposte into an active Cannon lightshow there's casting a buff on your weapon, casting a buff on your shield, casting the cannon itself, etc. A lot of wanking around for the payoff and if that's what you want then Sorcerer skips straight to the point for an even bigger show. Fighter and Assassin are more fun for really getting in the shit and kicking dudes in the dick until they submit to the sweet embrace of death, and Ranger is better than MK for anything that isn't physical immune, even without factoring in Blast Error abuse.

You rank up in certain classes as you gain experience in them.
Certain classes up certain stats more than others.
Classes each have their own skills you unlock. The passive ones work while playing any class but most of the combat abilities are class specific. There are a few that carry over to similar classes.
There's no respecing, but nothing limits what class you can choose.

Every class, aside from Mage and Warrior, is overpowered, so if anything, they are the most balanced classes in the game. People don't give Warrior enough love. Here's an old post I made a few years back...

You can switch whenever at any inn after level 10 without consequence. Whenever you level up you get stats for the class you're in, so you can min/max if you want, but you don't need to since a majoriy of your stats come from gear.

Then what's the deal with stabbing yourself for the closure ending? The ending screen talks about you closing your eyes as your story comes to an end, so my impression was that you release the old Seneschal, become the new one, and THEN kill yourself so the cycle doesn't repeat.

If Selene is on the beach, she mentions to your pawn that this is the world the Arisen wanted them to live in - presumably one free of the cycle. Otherwise it would be no different than the world Selene was used to because of the strife involved with the mantle of Arisen. The main theme's lyrics are "finish the cycle of eternal return" so thematically it makes no sense to get "closure" only to have the cycle repeat.

Well I won't pretend I know if that was the intention or not, I wasn't too invested in the world or lore because of some of it just not making sense and all coming at the end, but I was just under the impression that you became the Seneschal and then stabbing yourslef with the Godsbane just gave life to your pawn somehow. I feel like if killing yourself was so easy and would just break the cycle, Savan would have done it himself, or one of the Seneschal's before him would have done so.

There are two times the game selects an important NPC: as your beloved, and for the person that sees your pawn at the very end of the game.

The first one is the LATEST PERSON you have spoken to that has max or high affection before you start the Deny Salvation mission, where you fight inside the Greatwall.

Bit tricky to get everything working right, but with this you can have multiple skill sets for each weapon (Need to press r on the keyboard though)
you can also remove class limitations, So you can be a magick archer warrior, Mystic knight sorcerer, Mace ranger, ect
and it means you can have whatever fashion you want, also has an in game clock, a damage counter, general cheats if you're into that, easy to install, only difficulty is learning how to work it, and even then its not that hard
