Team treasure trek from 4 is the GOAT 2v2 minigame. In general I'd say 4 was the best mario party based on how good the minigames were.

since this is a Mario Party thread i have to ask a genuine question, should i buy Mario Party 2 or Mario Party 3? i was planning on buying one of them to have fun and get drunk with my friends

3 is widely accepted as the epitome one. Most minigames, lots of items, 3 item slots. 2 only has one item slot but the characters dress up which looks cute. Also some really great boards like Western, Space and Bowser Land- 3 is missing a Bowser map which are usually a highlight of MP games.
3 has great maps too, and contrary to 2 there is no real bad one (like Mystery Land), Deep Bloober Sea one of the most beloved ones, but Chilly Waters is great too. Woody Woods might be a bit too luck based for some tastes with those arrow junctions forcing you to go a way...
