Why did they make wall-jumping a frame-perfect trick?

It's not frame-perfect, you have a window to do it
>>377946510
Its like four frames, its easy.

Damn, a whole 1/15th of a second?
>>377946510
I really liked this move, makes me feel ninja :(

I'm sure is more than that. Continuous Wall-Jump, without loosing momentum is the real trick. Also, is optional to beat the game and even optional to get 100%.

Well unless you fall down in that hole without meaning too and saved down there. Then you gotta wall jump to get back out. But it isn't that hard.

It's a pretty cool trick, sadly ZM and Fusion engine didn't allowed wall-jumping to do the crazy shit you can do in Super and Fusion even removes it after you get Space-Jump.
>had trouble wall jumping as a kid
>come back and play the game in my 20s
>wall jump up a single wall like it's nothing
Really made me think
>>377946510
Isn't it really easy, it's just slower than you'd expect so it to be.

I don't know dude, I was able to do wall-jumping in Super Metroid since I was 7 years old. The basic trick is not hard itself, it gets harder when you try to do it the continuous version without losing momentum or when you try to do it in one or two pixels tall walls.

Because it's a glitch. It's unintentional.

After NES Strider everything is easy

unfortunately it's the opposite for me.
