Neo Geo Pocket Color.

Had it been released a year or two before it did it might of had a good chance of being somewhat successful.
It actually had a really good library of games very quickly, and in some ways it was superior to the GBC it was aimed at competing with. It had a real nice build quality and design, I played on it a lot.

Only problem is, it came out just before the Gameboy Advance which it was massively inferior to, hardware wise.

Shame really.

The NGPC came out too late to really make a dent in the market (Should have ditched the NGP model they released the year before and straight up made the NGPC from its conception), but arguably the Dreamcast came out too early, being rushed to market because of the failure of the Saturn, missing the boat on DVD media, which really appealed to third party developers. (But also because Sega kind of burned bridges with some of them). Alienating themselves from getting ports.

Wii is the oddball where it sales where low in Japan, which is why its library is such a mess.
And yet some of the best stuff didn't get localized such as Zangeki no Reginleiv
Only problem with Zero is that it wasn't a launch game, so it didn't sell consoles to the degree it should have
