Is Origins still bad?
>>377898556
Yes, they're all bad.
Origin is bad.
Steam is bad.
UPlay is bad.
Battle.net is bad.
>>377898556
No. The problem lies in the masses of those fucking launchers. Origin, Uplay, battlenet, hell, even fucking Bethesda has its own.
Why?
Steam was pretty much the first and is the biggest. I'm not a Valve fanboy, but I'm a customer and it's annoying as fuck to have more than one of these installed, depending on the games you want to play.
I don't care which one gets to be the plattform, but usually this award goes to the one who is first.
So everyone besides Steam can fuck off.

But it's good for competition. Origin had refunds before Steam.
>>377898556
I like the free games they give out form time to time. But it sucks that I have to use Origin to play the Sims.
It's not bad, but it's not good either. It just is.
I haven't opened up Origin since Titanfall 2 is dead and I have no interest in BattleKANGZ 1.

There's still no real competition if the games are not on every platform. If you want to play (most) EA games, you have to use Origin. You can't say "aw hell naw I'm getting it on Steam", or vice versa.
its never been bad, just not socially accepted, you want shit drm talk about uplay
The only complain that I have with it, is that it uses GPU resources even when closed.
>>377898556
Is it still owned by EA?Don't answer that, a rhetorical question.
>>377899281
what uses the gpu even when closed?
>>377899435
Some Origin component does, Nvidia software can show what process are using GPU resources and Origin shows even when closed down and with closed I mean close to tray.
>>377898623
Good news! They're all going away.
>>377899243
ah yes uplay
>buy game on steam,
>still need uplay
this is why i dont buy farcry games
