Figured stopping doing Cemu cracking. Would rather do other stuff than constantly cracking the same thing over and over again. People still think I was paid by Exzap a fee to stop doing it, and people will just believe what they want to believe regardless of what was said.
That said, made the Cemu hack DLL open source. Figured it might be useful to whoever wants it. It still needs some things like checking memory page permissions as well as optimizations to the pattern search, as well as general additions for patching and inserting code caves.

There are a TONNE of missing graphics effects in the game still. Plus constant hitching and stuttering. Plus the fact that crashing will probably never be resolved, due to a fundamental limitation of the emulation.

Yes, the game looks fantastic running at high res, but the way you go on about it makes it sound like it's perfect on Cemu. It's not... and likely won't ever be.

ive been playnig for a few hours and already have a nearly complete shader cache. around 4500 shaders.

Shaders load super fast, at under a minute, when before it would take me 5 minutes or more sometimes. it is no longer hanging up my computer using all my 8gbs of ram to load

graphical flickering glitches seem to be fixed as well, have not run into any yet Still have texture glitches and audio glitches occasionally, but both seem to be improved, cant say for sure

performance seems slightly improved from 1.7.5. without fence skip im getting 15-18 fps when before i was getting 12-15 fps, with fence skip i get 25+ consistently. My Machine is mid level Xeon E3 processor. GTX 650 ti boost GPU 8gb ram

still have crashing issues but crashes are less frequent it seems, and don't seem to be triggered by fast travel anymore.

really great improvement overall, devs really delivered

After testing 1.8.0 for a few hours, I can say performance is indeed increased, before going into numbers, here are my specs and cemu setup;

Intel i5 6500 stock clock GTX 960 2GB 8GB of RAM Running the game off of an SSD

Game tested; Zelda Cache; tested a downloaded 4k one and made my own (no difference in performance minus the cache stuttering) Speedhack; none used FPS limiter; Nvidia Inspector set to 29.9 Control panel settings; only overidden AA, no other settings. Graphic packs; 1440p, AA Removal and High res shadows.

Open world excluding towns and stables are running at constant 30 with GPUfence, with a minor drop in frame(s) here and there but nothing major.

Towns such as Hateno and Kakariko is also very close to stable 30, tho it does occasionally drop to 27-28fps.

Dense forests are pretty much like the towns however it drops more often.

Stables can vary, sometimes they are sitting at 20-25 and other times 30fps.

Combat can slow down fps at times, especially in fights with alot of particles.

As for crashes.. I can say in my experience they remain the same. Teleporting and entering a town on foot is the biggest cause for me as of right now, same if I go AFK for 30 min or more then continue (without pausing).

The new cache system is awesome, compiling a pre-built one goes super fast and compiling a precompiled cache is even faster. RAM usage with the 4k cache is around 4,7GB compared to the 7.5GBs 1.7.5 used to eat.

Overall great improvements, to some this will be more than playable, however I will still hold off until Exzap implements his workaround for the crashes related to GPUfenceskip (GPU running too far ahead from the processor).
