My prediction is that they're going to launch 4.0 where every tank is a 3.0 VIT tank, they're going to (once again) run into problems where bad tanks are having problems holding aggro, so 3.1 will try to band-aid that by (once again) increasing the enmity multiplier on tank stances, to no real effect.

Then in 4.2 they will either revert back to the STR/VIT mix that's in the game currently, or they'll just start making the tank accessories have stat-capped VIT and 50%-of-stat-cap in STR.

They couldn't do the latter before because accessories weren't locked and melee DPS would be able to make themselves too tanky for SE's liking, but now that they're locked I think that tanks are going to (sooner or later) get VIT+STR accessories, if they don't just move damage over to VIT again.

PLD is going to be the best MT because Sheltron is retardedly overpowered now that it can block magic. It's Inner Beast except it's available in Sword Oath, basically.

DRK is probably going to be the best OT. Those new consumer attacks are probably retardedly powerful, they're not reliant on being MT for party utility and are much less reliant on it for damage, and we know for a fact that they have party utility in the form of that targetable defense skill. WAR just doesn't bring anything to the table anymore except MAYBE still being tops on personal DPS, and I wouldn't count on that being as pronounced as it was in Heavensward.

Max Oath is 100, same as WAR rage.

Under normal circumstance, using Sheltron cost 50 Oath. What other WAR war defensive abilities that cost 50 resource? That's right, Inner Beast.

So now both tank have on the go defensive CD that can be use 2 times at max resource.

Was doing my daily healing when 2 boss adds come in and attack me. Cant dodge boss aoe taking 900 while the adds to a combined over 1.5k. Then get told the adds weren't fatal and it was my fault for not holding them...

So looking at the new crossclass system, WHM got royally fucked over. Now we need to add Seal, Shroud, Protect and Esuna and Cleric from our own kit, meaning we have to forgo one of these to have the mandatory Swiftcast. Break being what it is coupled with the fact that Stones are now a single traited ability from 1-4 makes me believe that S1 will no longer add heavy either. We basically lost E4E, Surecast, our heavy and Blizzard2, and have no room for the troll hook.

WAR just has their Wrath/Abandon visualized into a meter, AST just has plain visualization too but with the new alternate card mechanic. Dragoon's is pretty much just a meter visualization of their timer too with the added Gaze of the first brood thing.

But in general, jobs with new resources to manage include:

Ninjutsu also doesn't seem to have a 20s cd anymore but can be used when you want as long as you have enough Ninki. You also can throw a Ninjutsu for each Mudra used in a combo so you can do a combo like Chi -> Fuuma -> Ten -> Raiton -> Jin -> Suiton for single target or Jin -> Fuuma -> Ten -> Katon -> Chi -> Doton for AoE but this might be tied to the small circle he creates before doing that.

You can't Katon to Huton, both require Ten as a last Mudra so using Katon railroads you into either Suiton or Doton afterwards. Huton is accessible only with Hyoton or Raiton.
