I dated her in my playthrough, I think the only issue is that she didn't get enough time to have her character really fleshed out. I've heard that she was supposed to be a party member but the idea was scrapped early in development, which would explain why her Confidant felt more incomplete than the other side characters.

Skillwise chihaya and kawakami are fucking essential for all confidant max runs.
Tae sells one of the most useful items in the game for completing palaces in a single day and hifumi while the weakest of the four is still useful for battles.

Personality/storywise only hifumi is bad.

Does her Confidant get more interesting further into it, I only got her a couple ranks up for the basic combat abilities on my first playthrough? She's in-charge of her dead dad's company and other employees there are trying to manipulate her, she's arguably the Phantom Thief dealing with the most shit in her life so I thought that she'd have the most interesting Confidant within the party, but she just talks about growing vegetables all the time instead

Everything about Haru felt like a complete afterthought, she has potential as a character but they don't capitalize on any of it partly because there's no time left to at that point in the game. Main thing she brought to the group was giving Morgana an actual close friend aside from Joker, and floppy tits.

Maybe the inevitable update will add stuff for her, or maybe it won't because obviously Akechi will be the focus of the new content in it.

It has the most into it outside of something like Tora or Ryuji. It deals with her problems in the company, with her fiancee, with her dead dad, and how she'll cope with it. She's in the corporate world without having learned of any corporate dealings, everyone's out to abuse her and you're probably the only thing that's keeping her alright outside of killing shadows as a phantom thief.

It's one of the few links where you're integral to her growth, unlike some others
