The Wii U had Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge at launch and had a few dark games like Fatal Frame V and Devil's Third.

Next "dark" game is going to be Payday 2.

BotW has a shrine quest where you have to find an orb in complete darkness using only torches and bring it to its pedestal.
