MediOcre

Steep difficulty curve. Combat is nothing more than running up to the bad guy and mashing the attack button, with little to do but to lose 70% of your health. Really turned me off from playing it any further. There was probably something I was missing, but man did it feel uninteractive outside of the small puzzles.

Beat the first game recently I liked it for the most part except for pools of the ancient dead and the lake which were absolute cancer as this anon said >>377877517 about difficulty curve. Other than that enjoyed it. Haven't gotten around to the second game yet but I've heard mixed things about it.

MediEvil is really great. MediEvil II is okay. I don't like remembering MediEvil: Resurrection.

Those two levels were a pain, but I kinda liked The Lake the last time I played it.

Played the first two when I was a kid. I absolutely loved them, but they probably didn't age well.

The controls are pretty trash. Hard to believe I put up with them back in the day.
aesthetic is great
