Solid but overrated.
>>
>lel what if we gave a deck amazing early game AND late game xd
It should be 5 or maybe even 6, or minions should be 4/5 OR, make C Core not effect current board.
There's no way to interact with this quest at all. They just bounce 3 times and 1 mana 5/5s do x 1 drop effect for the rest of the game.
>>
Isn't it limited to 2 in a deck? How the fuck would that card even work?

And if you have to spend a mana to get a mana whats even the point
>>
>>377875682
It's limited to 1 and you always get it in your opening hand.
>>
>>377875682
You can only have one and you start with it when the game begins.
>>
>>377875758
I mean 1 minion. So how could you have 4 of the same minion
>>
>>377875798
With Rogues many many abilities that make copies of minions or return minions to your hand.

Please don't participate if you don't play the game.
>>
>>377875682
There's plenty oflow-cost cards that return to your hand, usually can complete the quest around turn 4
>>
>>377875682
>>377875798
The class that it's from, rogue, has duplication effects and several cards that give you the ability to add minions on the field back to your hand. So they just "bounce" cheap minions on the first four turns.

Is this more balanced? Maybe adjust the number?
Same idea, but can't be completed by fucking turn 1 and Prepped on turn 2 (seen it happen)
>>
>>377876276
6 might be more reasonable. At 8 I feel like you'd rarely get a chance to use it.
>>
>>377875594
Needs to be a 9 cost.

Unless the "Wall" has an effect like "Destroyed if targeted by a spell"
>>
>>377876276

I don't get why people complain so much about this quest. I got this as my first decent drop this expansion and it isn't the be all end all you all make it out to be.

It seemed interesting and I played around with it a bit, but I barely encounter it were I couunt counter it playing pally priest in rated playing pally/priest

>>
>>377875643
It'd be fine if Crystal Core's effect wasn't the equivalent of a Yugioh Field Spell Card.
>You can't even silence them because it's a permanent active effect
>Rogue doesn't even have to give up a board spot for it, unlike Warlock
Blizzard is retarded and has been making retarded problems like this time and time again. If it were "Minions you play are 5/5," it'd be better. Amara, the Priest Quest Leggo kills you if you have an Auchenai on the board even though her effect is to SET your HP, not heal you to 40.

Mistcaller gives minions you draw and ones that are in hand +1/+1 instead of actually doing what it says on the card.
>>
>>377876762
It's just boring. There's very little interaction unless you run silence or hex effects that you can hit their tactics with early, or you're a priest/paladin/mage with ready to go board clears, assuming you have exactly the cards you need to activate them.

I just wish there was more a player could do to prevent their quest or combat against it, rather than the Fun And Interactive thing we have now.
>>
>>377877098
What's a Leggo? Can you build new cards out of blocks now?
>>
>>377877202
Legendary.
>>
It's shit, absolutely unfun to play and play against. What the fuck where they thinking. Why isn't burgle or deathrattle rouge a thing.
>>
>>377876762
Unless you're playing aggro and slamming faces dead in five or six turns, you have to get real lucky to beat quest rogue. Building your deck for a long game just isn't viable as long as this deck exists. Jade Druid used to be a similar pain before the rotation, but at least it took them a good while to build up to 5/5s

As >>377877098 said, there's almost zero way for you to stop it, you just have to watch as they bounce the same minion three times (twice if they just draw their second copy of it) and start spamming 1-mana 5/5 chargers and 5/5 taunts
>>
>>377877379
There's only one G in Legendary and zero Os. That makes no sense.
>>
>>377877062
Fuck socialism amirite??? I worked hard to get where am I today using my parents money.
>>
>>377877540
You don't have to make sense of everything. That's the word HS players use for Legendary.\
>>
>>377877546
And if your parent's worked hard for that money as well why shouldn't they use it to help you? Do you not want to provide a good life for your kids as well?
>>
>>377876276
If it gets prepped turn two that means your opponent has no cards. That's not how you play the deck.
>>
>>377875594
Should just make it a magic card with a 0/5 indestructible wall token that has protection from black.
>>
>>377877521
>druid's way to get 5/5 and up:
>play 4 cards

>rogue's way to get 5/5:

>4 cards
If they're running 2 Jade Idols, 2 Jade Behemoth, 2 Jade Blossom, 2 Jade Spirit, and Aya, an average Jade Druid game won't see a 5/5 until turn 6+. They'd need to play 1 Jade Idol (you never cycle the first one), play both Spirits, and both Blossoms to see a 5/5 before Turn 6.
>>
>>377878093
Oh sorry. Sent early.
And a Rogue can start pooping out 5/5s like they're nothing as early as turn 3 with flawless draw.
Flawless draw can also get the Quest done turn 1.
>>
>>377877639
The parents choice to give money to their kids is a capitalist one. The kids choice to accept the money is a socialist one.

Never said they shouldn't use it. But kids who accept their parents money have had a socialist leg-up on life. Some people find that hard to digest.
>>
>>377876276
It would be nearly unplayable at 8. The card is balanced as is, and honestly isn't even that good. The quest rogue deck is way too inconsistent to be overpowered. Pirate warrior or egg druid are way better (and more consistent) if you want to play a fast aggressive deck.
>>
>>377876762
The problem is the fact that it's a braindead deck with a 50%+ winrate that manages to be even more stupid than Aggro.
>Play with yourself for 4 or so turns and then kill the enemy hero in 6 hits
>>
>>377877175
Dirty rats and counterspells both hard counter the deck. The quest rogue is also countered pretty easily with more aggressive decks.

Great comparison there.
>>
>>377878560
Except average draw for a Quest Rogue has those 5/5s out by turn 5 or 6 at worst.
A Jade Druid can't even get a single 5/5 out by turn 3 through Jade.
>>
>>377878000
I'm not a liberal.
>>
Quest rogue is a low-tier inconsistent deck. Sure sometimes it looks amazing (if it draws really well), but the rest of the time it gets crushed by control or aggressive decks like aggro druid, pirate warrior, or other tempo decks. There's a reason very few people play quest rogue on ladder at higher ranks.
>>
>>377878725
Just the fact that you initially had to compare average and flawless to demonstrate your point shows how insignificant it is.
>>
>>377878000
The fat man said from his mother's basement, typing on the computer bought for his 25th birthday, running on the fibre optic internet connection he demanded that his parents pay for. Sneering, he stood up from his specially crafted chair designed to hold his weight - a condition he inflicted upon himself by raiding the pantry far too often. He waddled over to the sink, washing the sweat and crumbs off his hands with the fresh, clean drinking water delivered to him through pipes built by his country, and paid for by his ageing mother's dwindling savings. He left the tap running - saved him the effort from having to turn it off again. He gazed into the bathroom mirror, scratched his ass through his pants and grinned.
"Filthy liberals. They should take responsibility for their own lives."
>>
>>377878496
Doesn't actively contribute to increasing Jade size. Unlike Bouncing, Jade doesn't inherently have draw built into its 0-manas by giving you the minion-card to play again. And again.

DOES anyone still see Jade Druid on the ladder? No, because its already obsolete.

Hearthstone has the most retarded matchmaking system I have ever seen. I'm a relatively new player (been playing for like 2 months) and free to play so for a while I was getting creamed every game by broken decks with a shitload of rare cards I don't have. Then I realized I can concede spam with no consequences and now I'm winning every single match vs the tards and I feel kind of bad about it. What kind of a shitty game encourages you to surrender over and over to play with people of a lower skill level? This is stupid.
>>
>>377880132
I think the quest is decent in a kazakus priest deck. It's a pretty fun deck actually, although it definitely isn't top tier or anything.
>>
>>377880459
What are you, like rank 20-ish? You can hit legend with ridiculously cheap decks (i.e. pirate warrior or aggro druid). You should get a bit more experience in the game before you make a judgement on how you think the game mechanics should work.
>>
>>377880459
I really wouldn't mind a mode that only allowed basic/level unlocked cards

Be fun to go back to Sen'Jin Shieldmastas and Stormpike Commandos
>>
>>377880594
I'm playing casual because I don't see the point in playing ranked until I can complete a real deck. The ranked matchmaking works different from casual in that it matches based on tier, so surrendering wont do anything. I just feel really bad because all these low IQ tards are losing to me every game and not getting any gold because I surrender spammed but that was MY only way to get gold because I was losing every single game to people with real decks.
>>
>>377880639
Not anymore.
>>
>>377880132
It's pretty damn good in Wild, friend. Reno decks in general are so fun in Wild.
>>
>>377879161
>midrange hunter isn't even in tier 1 or 2
What the fuck?
>>
>>377880743
There's really no reason not to play ranked. It's not that hard to climb up the ranks with a super cheap deck, plus you get rewards at the end of the month (i.e. cards) based on how high you are ranked, and you get gold from ranked. There's no reason at all to play casual, you'll only face complete noobs and never learn anything about the game.
>>
>>377880927
>>>>>"""""midrange"""""
>>
>>377881032
Having a couple highmanes makes it a midrange deck, r-right?
>>
>>377880939
It's not about climbing up the ranks it's about gold income. A lot of games in ranked are literally unwinnable for me because I don't have the cards necessary. If you lose in hearthstone you don't get gold and I need gold to get cards.
>>
>>377881149
People just play meta decks on casual anyways, you might as well play on ranked

How am I supposed to beat Mid-range paly as Control Warrior? It feels like 30/70 in their favor. It just seems so easy for them to get Value, while i'm here trying to keep the board clear. Let alone hoping they don't get multiple Tirions, dealing with Rag, holding off murlocs and Tarim.

The problem is not the massive strength of this card, because there are more consistently strong decks currently in play, the problem is the lack of counter play to the strength of this deck. What are your options for preventing your opponent from activating this? You can play a dirty rat and remove a card, you can play potion of polymorph, or more likely you can just hope they draw one of the VERY few dead cards in this deck.
>>
>>377880459
The game does not encourage you to llay vs lower skilled players, you decided to do that. The nature of the ladder keeps you at a place where you're about equally likely to win or lose so if you always play your best you'll be matched against opponents of equal skill and deck strength. You're painfully dumb

It's a bad match-up for control warrior, although you can tech in stuff like black knight, 2 brawls, sleep with the fishes, and silence for their spikeridged steeds etc.
>>
>>377875294
I dont get it. Their design philosophy is generally geared around interactivity and them wanted them to feel like they won because they won, not just because their opponent couldnt go off. Then they print a card that is very obviously designed not be hindered in any way by what your opponent does
>>
>>377882007
Counterspell.
>>377882165
The point of the conversation is that Jade Druid is not as fucking annoying as Quest Rogue.
>>
>>377875643
It's actually not a very good early game. Quest Rogue's problem is that their win condition is to basically do nothing for 4-6 turns and then beat the opponent one to two turns later. This leaves them incredibly vulnerable to any sort of aggro/burn deck, and is the reason why they don't really see much success anymore.

Quest Rogue is an auto win versus some decks, but an auto lose against the most popular aggro decks.
>>
>>377878806
The problem isnt that its too good, its that its just a slog to play with or against due to how little disruptiveness Hearthstone has
>>
How much would Explore Un'Goro, the godawful Warrior Epic cost in Mana if it read "Replace your opponent's deck with copies of Discover a Card."?
>>
>>377882441
True, although it's always fun for me to use dirty rats to pull out their combo pieces and stop them from ever playing their quest. If you're complaining about how non-interactive the deck is, then you probably also hate all aggro decks and freeze mage.
>>
>>377882594
They would never release that card, it goes against their design philosophy. Although a card that good would probably need to be some kind of quest card with really difficult requirements to pull off.
