anyone who talks shit about Halo 1 should step into a 1v1 multiplayer match with a pro. They will learn a new respect for the game. Halo 1 multiplayer divided people like not many FPS games do since now it's all about noobing games down so the kiddies can compete and buy the games. Thus noobing games = profitable. But Halo 1 existed in a time before this noobification took place, and omg, the multiplayer was cut throat as fuck. Honestly Halo 1 multiplayer is arguably the most fun shit of all time with an extreme replay value.

The controls were tight, and as one of my friends said, "the controls are too perfect" because he would get his ass handed to himself in multiplayer with the pistol.
