bloodborne is repetitive because it tries too hard to be sickdark, everything is designed around being as sickdark as possible and noithing else. das3 isnt sickdark so it doesnt try so hard and its not as repetitive but its a shit game so dont even bother.

DaS3 is decent, it's the closest to bloodborne out of the entire series. If you didn't like BB though you'll probably not like DaS3, try DaS1 instead.

DaS3 is mediocre as hell, not worth more than $20 MAYBE $30 at most but I wouldn't recommend it, it's the only Souls game I didn't buy or want to replay after I beat it and I'm a huge fan of the series, loved the other games with the exception of DaS2 which is also mediocre.

when was the last time you played demons souls and dark souls 1 my dude? they like piles of shit now because of how much the series has progressed in terms of combat fluidity

compare the fucking kalameet fight which was god tier in it's time, but now severely outclassed by the midir boss fight
playing dark souls 1 feels like you're trying to sprint underwater compared to how smooth and aggressive everything is in bloodborne and das3

Op here, im new to the souls series and after beating bloodborne I can say that I was not all that amazed, It was ok but Im looking foward into a more slow paced combat that's still a little fast, thats why I have so much high expectations with ds3, because I know you have more variety in terms of gameplay(i really dont care about story im more of a gameplay>athmospere guy) but still, i want /v/'s advice, will i get what I expect? Im also looking foward unto playing ds1 latter.

DaS3 feels like an awkward combination of DaS and BB. It can be a little more durdly than BB, but for the most part it tries to keep the speed up and it doesn't quite work as well.

I think DaS is much better if you want a slower paced game. 3 doesn't really keep its focus.

Hope you're not expecting much, because DaS3 has probably the worst variety in gameplay out of all of them. There is literally no reason to ever use any other weapon besides a straightsword. Gameplay involves mindlessly roll spamming against super agressive enemies until they stop their combo, then proceeding to stunlock them to death.
