Hey this is actually fun. It's a sci-fi version of Grimrock but with random quests involved. I've only played it for a couple of hours though and have no idea how to build the other classes to complement my Soldier main.
Anyone here tried it yet?
I want to, but I'm a cheapass who waits for things to go on sale. Although I might get it if it really looks worth it.
How are the dungeons/overworld? The level design was one of the best parts of 2.

I pirated it. Might buy it if the initial "new game" high isn't the sole reason I'm liking it.

I've only just begun so I don't quite know although I'm guessing it won't be as varied like Grimrock 2 since this one's a bit more claustrophobic like the first Grimrock.

I might have to go ahead and give it a spin.
Female Void Psyker a cute.

I wish it was more like Grimrock, personally. I'd kill for a sci-fi Grimrock.
>randomly generated quests/dungeons/enemy encounters
>turn based
>town hub you return to for quests, loot, etc
Nothing wrong with SC doing its own thing but the two series aren't really comparable.

They are both first person dungeon crawlers.

And they're both vastly different from each other.

Being in the same genre alone makes them comparable. I mean, come on, let's not be pedantic about this.

I'm really not trying to be but as a fan of real-time dungeon crawlers hearing someone say that this is like a sci-fi Grimrock, one of my favorite games, would make my pants tight, at least until I researched the game a bit and find out it's similar only in that it's first person and tile based.
This sort of thing happens all the time. Like when /v/ told me Ziggurat was 'just like Heretic/Hexen' and it turned out it was Serious Sam / Pain Killer with a fantasy skin. Suffice to say I was sorely disappointed.

morrowind and dark souls are pretty similar too by that metric
