Competitive sucks. I did my placements as Mercy because I like Mercy, I was a good Mercy, but my teams sucked pretty consistently. I mean there's nothing I can do to carry or anything, I'm relying on them. Nobody thinks to group up, everybody just trickles in, so there was no chance to rez a team, at most two people.
I was high gold in season 2, didn't participate in season 3, and wound up in low silver in season 4 because of shit teams and skipping a season. The competitive system sucks.

100% agreed. Its retarded that the placement matches still use data from the last seasons placement to dictate your new place. Even if you teamed up with people of a higher level you'd still fall back down to the where you belong if you are actually that level.
