Honestly, I love the mechanics of playing P&D. It feels good. Remove the mobile game 'only so many plays in one sitting' and absolutely cancerous drop rates, and you have an honest to god fun puzzle game in the same vein as Meteos.

I have the P&D Z (& Mario) game. I wouldn't doubt that it didn't sell well, since just the case makes it look super fucking shovelware that happens to have Mario on the side of it.

The other problem is that if you're not into P&D, like, REALLY into P&D to sit down and play it for an hour straight, it doesn't have a lot going on. The Mario part literally feels just like a reskinned version of the mobile game, down to the bullshit RNG that is meant to entice people to pay money to get around except you can't. Like, it wasn't toned down at all despite being a purchased game.

P&D Z on the other hand isn't anywhere near as bad as the mobile or Mario versions, and after playing those three, I can say that P&D Z just throws shit at you at an ridiculous rate. Barring some shit where a particular monster who's part/egg you want only spawns on a very specific level and you might only encounter them only once per pass at the level, it feels pretty fair.


Oh, and the monsters in P&D Z stay monsters instead of becoming anime girls and boys.

he would samefag a lot too, it was mostly just him defending himself though. the only reason i know it was samefagging was because whenever he got banned, both the cuckposts and the posts defending him would be deleted.
it was basically just an endless torrent of cuck shitposting day in and day out, and there was a noticeable decline in activity like 2 weeks after he started posting
eventually threads slowed to a crawl and it would take multiple days until /padg/ needed a new thread
eventually it got the point where he was the one making the new generals, and that's when the general pretty much completely died out

my memory is a bit fuzzy so some of that might be incorrect, but that's at least how i remember it

I liked the Mario half, because it required you to really get good to accomplish much of anything. If you sucked, then you were pretty much stuck with the starting few critters. You needed to be able to consistently hit 6+ chains in order to reliably drop enemy cubes and fill up your roster more, and you really weren't going to progress (especially past Morton) if you didn't.

The special abilities on the Mario side are pretty bullshit, though.

I'm at 80% SBR right now with DAthena/Haku/Loki/Noctis, but I need that last 20% for solo. Any ideas? I decided against Typhon since >>377852465 pointed out that he doesn't get any boosts.

I was thinking maybe Durga because she has TPAs and SBR. I was thinking it might be a little redundant to have two enhances, but I could always inherit something over it.

castor or awoken oku are my usual subs for the 2 sbr slot

Durga's in my DAthena party now on both US and JP. Having an extra boost is useful for troublesome midbosses, and the short CD is enough to put another skill on it.

I have a Haku of every type and really need to get around to making one or more of them the reincarnated versions to go with the one I already have.. but it's so much work.
