I enjoyed it for what it was. If nothing else I was happy with the sense of scale and that it felt like an actual world rather than a series of linear corridors ala X + XIII.

It has its flaws, but for the most part it's enjoyable and a step up from the mess that was XIII.

On tour quests are only accessible from camping. Things like black chocobo stole Ignis's glasses so you stalk it and get em back, Noctis taking an ultimate pose with a Catoblepas as close as it can get for a picture, racing Gladio on the beach in a footrace, helping ignis cook in the morning, helping Prompto flirt with Cidney and get a picture of the two of them together, etc. More fun character stuff like that

It was okay.

I have played worse (ME3, Time & Eternity, the first Neptuina) but it wasn't great.

Did get the Platinum in the game but never looked back after getting it so I have not tried any of the "fixes" or DLC the game got since the start of March.

Did like the interaction between the main 4. I also liked Ardyn. Everyone else had potential but were just thrown to the wayside before I could care for them (like Luna)
