50 demos will satisfy your vidya needs better. You only play vidya for the "oh shit, this is what this game is about" moment. After a while every single one of those 15 games will become repetitive and dull. 50 demos will give you 50 interesting, fresh and carefully selected experiences.

second option is not comparable, 50 is not that much more sizable than 15 which is a lot of games and much better as they're complete.
what could make it worth it is if the discs were the classic "2000 in one" or "200 in one" type deal and occasionally provided full but freeware or short games with a bonus magazine. in that case, maybe 10 discs would already be worth getting them since sometimes there's worthy stuff to be found in their selection. 50 discs is overkill.
