I've played BB and DS3 on PS4. Then I played DS3 on PC several times again.

DaS3 weapons were terrible, just like weapon arts. They lacked moves, had no good stance change, etc. On top of that, the gimmicks were absolutely garbage compared to BB.
The atmosphere wasn't on the same level and neither were the enemies... Not even close. There was never a point in DaS3 where you feel like this isn't shit you haven't done a million times before and better.
The mechanics in BB are better. For example tricking shits all over BA. Belt-casting shits all over using a clunky ass catalyst, the BS system is better, etc.
The combat overall in BB is better due to the things I've already mentioned.
The music is better due to lack if samples. You might be to deaf/stupid to hear it, but DaS1 and 3 have tons of sampled percussion while BB does not.

In BB you typically use charge R2, R2, R1, and L1 in both stances throughout the game, you can parry 2-handing, and the tricking gimmicks shit all over BA.
