I understand most since there's a lot of room for debate and it's not very clearly defined so sometimes you argue what exactly is the atmosphere in this game, except tight controls.

Tight controls is a "tangible" thing. It simply means that when you want character to do something he does it and just when you want to. Like you wouldn't, i don't know, go behind cover when you want to do something else or simply being able to dodge exactly when and where you want to in an action game. I'd even put shit like UI being easily navigable under that too. The opposite of shit controls basically.

I loved MKX but I can't for the life of me understand how to play Injustice. Leveling up characters just seems like a way from gating the player from progress of doing the challenge towers. Piecemeal cosmetic changes all kind of blend in with each other just like they did in For Honor

The game is super fucking well optimized and I wish Capcom or Arc System Works had this level of polish and presentation. Here's hoping Tekken will blow hinges off with their presentation too

The equipment system doesn't have to be complete shit. You could make it so you unlock items by leveling up a character instead, so taht at max level you have them all. You could even do the whole prestige thing and give them a special color when they reach max level again or something.
