Pretty much this, I downed 1300 hours into the game. Now I'm over it, it was a good grind and really fun at points.

I will always be in love with the gameplay, only thing it needs is coptering back.

It's clear that they have no idea what they want the game to be though, aside from a cash cow. If only they could actually make some good and lasting content the game would be amazing, but the only thing to do is rank weapons and mods and jew the dumbasses that support DE out of their plat.

There isn't literally no gameplay but it's incredibly stale and repetitive
like a month ago I was doing one of the "tactical alerts", which for the ill informed are timed events that are never again able to be played
I needed to grind up some fun bucks to buy some wackity smackity gear doodads
so I basically sat in the same defense missions for literally 5 hours and it was the most grueling thing I've ever fucking done
that's about when I uninstalled
even then, if you've ever been around when void was actually important and played like a 60 min tower 3 survival you'll know how fucking stale this game gets at the relevant level
it's structured around drawing in new people, making them spend money before they realize it's shit and then turning into shit. deliberately and constantly shits on old players whenever possible.

Its a good game until it gets too repetitive and you wish you'd still have the motivation because of the graphics and smooth gameplay but you've just spent too many hours doing killing the same enemies on the same maps...
It's a game worth trying but not spending your life on.

I doubt that's what he's talking about. The way level scaling works in this game causes severe imbalance after a certain point unless your entire squad is using cp.

There is also no point to using most weapons in the game when the tonkor and a few other select weapons exist and can kill entire groups faster than any non aoe weapon can.

The solution should obviously be to make other weapons worth using but instead DE decides to nerf any weapon that stands out and make them all shit.

Like I said, new players don't really know that. I already have all the plat I will ever need, but a new player would have a hard time grinding for new relics with new parts, and would much rather be able to build that prime set that they grinded for instead of selling it.
It's also important to remember how long it might take a new player to get to the point where they can actually get decent stuff to sell like nightmare or corrupted mods. They need mastery to get usable weapons and they need a lot of credits and half-ranked basic mods along with catalysts and reactors in order to be able to successfully complete missions. If they don't have anybody to carry them or help them out it's a pretty long road just to get there. Reactors and catalysts are required to use anything properly and unless you catch an alert/invasion you have to buy them with plat too.
They should at least give you 5 frame slots and 10 weapon slots by default or make these default slots obtainable without plat. Same with potatoes, there should be other ways to obtain them.

It's actually effective to play that way. Being in the air give enemies quite a big accuracy debuff, same for running on walls. It's a nice feeling to leap toward an enemy heavy and blast them into chunks with a point blank Tigris blast.

Played it for a bit. Terrible shooting mechanics. Movement is kind of fun, but that fun wears off after a bit. Level design was pretty shit. I really don't know what the game is like now though.

Who says the keystone will be centered. Them making a competitor for their main game and the only source of income so far is a ridiculous idea, keystone will probably cater to different audiences.
