So this is the first Tekken for the PC is that correct? Also what are the odds this game hits esports status, as in, enough players and interest to attract sponsors and feature the game at events like Dreamhack? I know Melee made its way into Dreamhack, despite having a fairly small scene in EU (compared to NA anyways)

I don't think Tekken will garner enough viewers to justify huge events. People like Tekken, but it isn't so widely played in the US.

Releasing on PC has nothing to do with it, though. The PC scene is probably going to be rather small although dedicated. No crossplay, remember.

You will have a better experience on a PS4 outside the launch window, I almost guarantee it.

No tekken has been widely played before, esports was just in a smaller place a few years back and the fgc in general not integrating
