That they cracked down on him was only to be expected given the circumstances that could have been entirely avoided in the first place had he been aware of how to manage deadlines and a budget.

Kojima didn't just happen to make a prologue that's a thousand times more detailed and better designed than the rest of the game. The military base in Ground Zeroes is what the rest of MGSV should've been like. They didn't just cut out one chapter, the entire game was rushed into something serviceable on a fundamental level.

The prologue was cut from the main game. And yes, it's well designed but I find OKB Zero, Mfinda Oilfield and Nova Braga airport to be just as good. Also, different settings. One is an American Secret Facility in Cuba, the others are Russian and African ones.
