It's a $60 DLC for Mario Kart 8. $360 if you don't already have a Switch. If you don't already have the Wii U, it's a pretty fun Mario Kart game with a bunch of tracks.

It's pretty much the peak of Mario Kart as we know it.
Not only did they port it from a home console to a handheld, but they also made it run at native 1080p60fps, added more content, a fantastic battle mode and improved a bunch of other things.

It's not worth the purchase if you have the Wii U version or don't already own a Switch. Otherwise, it's solid. Battle mode is pretty fun with friends.

Don't forget that CPU's get items twice as fast as you. I got an item box at the same time as Peach, but she had her shell ready to go in half the time it took me to get an item. Good driving will usually keep you in the top half, no matter what, but smart item use wins races. Be aware of what items you have and how other players are positioned around you. There's no point in using a shell or banana peel to knock back a single driver when a red shell can drop you three or four spots.

People complain about the carnage and chaos, but the things that will fuck you over are usually the result of mistakes that can be avoided with a little common sense.
