GW2 is pretty good if you want a brainless solo experience since the core game is so easy and you don't need to talk to anyone to play with them. It might be emptier on the leveling zones since everyone just rushes to max level and congregates on the expansion maps though since those are more challenging and give better rewards.
Also the whole package only costs 30 bucks total now if you don't wanna be a f2p pleb.

I'm having a great time with Elder Scrolls Online since they overhauled it half a year ago. I hated it after lauch but now it's fairly decent. Costs no sub fee either so you only have to buy it once and can leave and return as you please.
Has lots of content, more than any other MMO on the market because it's all horizontal, not vertical (since the revamp).

I am one of those retards who plays MMOs as a singleplayer game. I see that OP has requested exactly that, and I make recommendations based on my actual time /played. If "immersive experience" in your mind is instantly associated with marketing bullshit and /v/ memes, then that's your problem, not mine, since that's the best I can describe 4 games with regards to single-player (and the word "immersive" is in the OP) in a concise way.
