>1.5k hours of dota forever stamped onto my profile
How can you even recover from this?
Acceptance.
>>377775418
Big deal, I got double that.
>>377775606
I can never be respected again like this. Everytime a vidya event or a neat mulitplayer game releases, I'll be the one getting blocked and thrown out because
>oh god, it's a DOTA faggot.
>>377775418
>had fun with dota
>put in 1 k hours
>"ok this is not fun"
>another 1k hours later
>"defiantly not fun"
>proceed to uninstall
The game just got worse and worse.
>tfw just deleted Dota 2 recently when it tried to install another 3 GB worth of garbage
After 4 years I have my freedom back, 2013/14 Dota 2 was a lot of fun though.
>2 hours in dota 2
how do people find that shit fun
>>377775842
>muh internet imago ;____; ;w;
I can't recover from this.
You know the only way /v/
>>377775418
I hate it, I want it gone from my profile.
>3.8k hours in Garry's mod
how, what the fuck do you even do
Get for the King
>>377775418
By doing the right thing.
I still watch some videos once in 3-4 months to scrath an itch, but my life became much healthier.
>>377775418
by reminding yourself you're not me
>>377777713
To many things
>>377775418
actually, if you go to the steam refund page you can remove games from your library.
>>377777136
>defiantly
>>377778058
I remember enjoying that shit due to the TF2 promo, seemed like a fun game. Would've played it more if I had friends who would consistently play it and I wasn't on a TF2 high at the time.
>>377775418
>1.5k hours
>a lot
I could've learned a foreign language to fluency. I paid $40 for a DotA 2 beta key as well, which hurts even more when I think about it.
Don't be like me, anons.
>>377779156
>3.5 years of the game running
>>377775418
I used to play dota 2 with my group of friends. But we all got toxic with each other so I stopped playing. Feel so much better for it. Sadly they still play a shit ton and have become shitty people. It's like they absorb bad communication habits from the game and it infects the rest of their lives.
>>377779593
My friends were the opposite. I was the player who flamed the other team just to make them tilt. One of them hates the game so much that he deleted it from Steam and sold all his cosmetics.
They've stopped playing due to careers and the such.
I think it's an engaging game, but the community just drives you fucking insane - no game makes me rage like Dota 2, and I've played all sorts of frustrating games. I used to play at least one match every day, three years ago. Now, I haven't played since March, and that was right after I took a 6-month hiatus from it.
>>377780081
We're all gonna make it, bro.
>>377780081
I should probably sell my shit in the game.
>>377780550
Do it. I sold half and using the other half as an incentive for some interactions on steam.
>>377777583
Jesus.
I've played vidya for 20 years and don't think I have that many hours on everything combined
>>377780462
Yeah, I just want to hit the MMR goal I made for myself back when ranked matchmaking came out years ago. I never took it seriously but I'm only ~200 MMR away from it, last time I checked.
Then I can feel satisfied.
>>377780550
If you have no intention of playing anymore, might as well.
>>377780927
>I just want to hit the MMR goal
That's a slippery sloap, Anon, you be careful.
>>377780927
I feel like Im in that boat with Overwatch. I wanna hit a goal each season. But the matches don't take an hour and the community isn't as toxic.
dota is a horrible game with an even worse community. i am ashame
>>377775418
Go to support as if you were requesting a refund and choose remove this game from my account.
It should get rid of the hours.
>>377780081
>no game makes me rage like Dota 2
Now try to play rocket league
donut was always bad, I got maybe a 100 hours to try and learn the basics, then once I learned the basics realized I didn't want to see anything past thatwhat really hurts is over 2.5k hours in tf2, before it went to shit
>>377775418
>quit dota, csgo, tf2 for over a year now
>can't post in steam most played threads because I have hundred to thousands of hours on them.
>>377775418
just idle in some other game you like for 3k hours
>>377775418
Change to HOTS, its the nicotine patch of MOBAs. Its still a moba but not really competitive so you rage less. Also the games are shorter (20 min max) so you dont feel like you are wasting a lot of time.
>>377783328
>donut was always bad
Nah, it was pretty good until 7.00 (with some low points every now and then obviously)
>>377785485
This. I actually fine Hots pretty fun but I don't take it anywhere near serious.
>over 1k hours put into Huniepop
>IRL friend asks me to add him on Steam
uhhhh...
