Ristar was a cute character. I wish they had done more with him, but I guess giving him his own game after he was rejected as sonic was enough.

Incidentally it was recently revealed that the people making Sonic 2 also had the idea of time travel, not being aware of what was going with development in Sonic CD.

no kidding, bruh. i was hyped when i saw it in the xbox360 store, but i played the demo and was so glad i didn't buy it outright.
both the genesis games were worlds better.
